How to Find your Holiday Acommodation in the Lake District
It's easy to find the Anchorage Guest House in Ambleside - we're close to the Fire Station and Health Centre, tucked away in a quiet corner of the village.
Coming From the South on the M6
You need to leave the motorway at Junction 36 and follow the A590 towards Kendal, then the A591 to Ambleside. Drive though the village heading towards Keswick, pass by the little house on the bridge on your left and across the mini roundabout. You will see the pay & display car park and then the Fire station. We are the next left then first right into out car park.
From the M6 Southbound
Leave the motorway at Junction 40 and follow the A66 towards Keswick, then the A591 toAmbleside. As you approach Ambleside you'll see health centre to your left and we are on your right. Turn right after The Anchorage then right again into our car park.
By Train
Take the West Coast- Main Line, London - Glasgow, stopping at Oxenholme. Change trains for Windermere .Windermere is our nearest station (4 miles)
