The Anchorage ambleside is in a wonderful location two minutes walk to the village centre. We also benefit from a large car park on site.

The Anchorage ambleside Lake District is a non-smoking guest house. We are open all year with wonderful views of Loughrigg Fell and Wansfell Pike, yet so close to the village centre. A good location in ambleside, lake district no mater what the season. The guest house offers an ideal base to explore the lakedistrict with fell walking, climbing, mountain biking and water sports all nearby. All types of water sports and cruises are available on the beautiful Lake Windermere.

For the less energetic, Ambleside Village has a lot to offer, The Bridge House, Museum and Cinema to name a few. Then of course you have all the old shops and cafe's to explore. Ambleside is a lively village with a host of restaurants and pubs for a great night out.
